I haven't seen the spot, but that island that the city spent $28,000 to fence in would be an EXCELLENT video to make.

Clarence, the dude that runs Streetfilms told me they'd be psyched to get an Angeleno on board. Wouldn't be full-time work, but we'd have some fun together...

Here is a story for aspiring videographers:
Selwyn Hollins of the LADOT started the ONLY rickshaw licensing program in the City of L.A. Take a visit out to Ontario Intl Airport and check out his work, then look him up downtown in the Finance wing of the LADOT.
The guy is a genius, and deserves some cred.
Then interview LADOT staffer Haripal Var about his decision to kill pedicabs near downtown. It is worth at least a 10 minute movie.

Dammit, ubrayj, I totally forgot about that story. Looks like the Reyes resolution on LACBAC is going somewhere though.
