Anybody know some good hipster sites I can hangout at? Now that I'm a hipster, I don't really know how to act. :-/
I'm looking at you Daniel. You made me a hipster. Think of me as basically an avatars, or whatever they are. You'll have to constantly babysit, feed and neuter.
Monday Nights: Spaceland, never go watch the bands, just stay in the back in the smoking room and smoke a lot, play pool and drink Chimay.
Tuesday Night: Cinespace, again, never go dance or watch the bands, just stay in the smoking area balcony and get as much free booze before 11 that you can. Actually, no, if you go to the bathroom, dance through the crowd. If you see one of the DJ's put your arm around them and go, "ahhhhhh!" and then walk off without looking at them again.
Wednesday Night: Cha Cha Lounge, drink as many $2 pbrs your heart can hold. Play some foosball. Go out front every 15 minutes to smoke. Also take a lot of photobooth pictures.
Thursday Night: Dance Right, this one you should hang out in the back patio and smoke a lot. Don't dance of course.
Friday/Saturday/Sunday Morning: You should do non-venue type things like go to the park and play dodgeball, sloshball or kickball. Or just sit in Echo Park Park and read with your bike parked next to you and spin the wheel every once in a while. Search for outdoor festival type things too. Stay away from dumb places like Short Stop at night but if you HAVE to get a drink one of those nights go to Little Joy or the Gold Room. Backyard BBQ's in the "old guy" of your friends house are cool too. Pools are an ultra plus!!! Take LOTS of pictures on the weekend to validate your week.
Sunday Night: Part Time Punx, while not AS sceney it's actually good for some cred the other nights. Make sure you go to the Factory Records nights and make fun of the Morrissey/Smiths nights.
Shit, I don't smoke or have any tats. Isn't there some hipster boot camp or something? I got a feeling there's going to be alot of bumps and bruises on this journey. :-( I got a couple things going for me though, I can play pool and I got a shit load of Factory records. That would be the one that I'd probably dig the most!

Updated one?! 5 years ago?! All because WE did these things 5 years ago doesn't mean they're not where the "hipsters" go now!!! To be honest if I did this so-called hipster bootcamp week I'd have a lot of fun! :) And yes they're all still going on!
As for the spin the wheel in the park we need to start that one now. That was one of the most memorable things in London! I think WE need to hang out in parks more! haha...
You don't actually need to smoke or have tats. Just go outside and hang out with the people that do smoke and have tats. You drink so you'll be fine! I guess it's important to have "hipster" friends to hang out with and scoff at other people at. And before all the clubs you have to eat at Vegan places or food places with no sign. There are a lot of them and it'll keep your body all svelte and emaciated. Also if you see a cyclist go by you have to yell, "get some gears!" or "how many gears do you have?!" or something like that. Either way it's good. Maybe we should have Midnight Ridazz HIPSTER WEEK! We'll find all the free RSVP alcohol before 11pm nights around town [sponsored by *******]... go to them and just like, be awesome.
haha, that's the only night i wont go to. sometimes it gets too much. i almost always go to the other nights though. i want to see The Clean on the 13th!
haha, yeah, it's been a bit since i've actually gone out like i used to. i think last time i was even there was back in december of last year. i get drunk in parks and parking lots too much nowadays.

I'm down to go whenever! We can turn PTP into a cycling club! I know Hungry Beat hosted by cabhauler is very friendly. Saw quite a bit of cyclist at that one last Saturday! Even Lance was dancing! But yeah let's plan on going the 13th of September for The Clean... hope it doesn't cost too much though. We'll start to plan stuff after Burning Man ! ha!

maybe my half ass (albeit with a certain comedic flair) attempt to get the "ridazz" to "check" themselves, before the "wreck" themselves fell dead.
hipster, tattoos, smoking, drinking cheap beer. seem like some nice stereotypes. much like those that are thrown at ridazz as well....tattoos, smoking, drinking cheap beer, burningman.

ooh! good point. maybe User1 is already a hipster and he doesn't even know it because he *hates* burning man!!! we just need to give him some tattoos and bam! hipster! he looks foine in those tight black pants!
It'll have to be those stick-on tats. I can't imagine wearing something for the rest of my life. Plus it IDs me. Not good if I'm ever running from the law!

because i was doing just that....calling everybody a hipster on melrose. It finally caught up to me as i called some guy a hipster on vermonrrt and he chased us downhill just to tell me "i'm not a hipster, i'm from montana"
