another rider hit by car

seeing there's been a recent trend of reporting hit and runs/bicycle-car accidents i figured i'd share with you guys about my coworker getting hit yesterday.

she was riding her bike to work, crossing an intersection (she had a green light) when a car ran the red light and hit her @ ~ 30mph. she some how, miraculously didnt get seriously hurt (broken bones, visible injury) but she looked pretty out of it (due to the pain killers) at work today.

thankfully the driver did stop and she got his insurance info, supposedly he's been harassing her by phone trying to pay her $800 for her $1200 bike.

she said that the police report doesn't state he ran a red so hopefully she won't get screwed by the insurance companies

 forgot to mention that the impact zone was the back end of her bike, the tire is bent to all shit and her frame looks decently bent

 Do you mean that the police report DOES say that the driver ran the red?
Also, was she properly checked out medically? The painkiller thing seems odd. Hope she's ok and that the driver/insurance takes care of her and her bike.

 Damn there's been alot of accidents lately. yeah definitely she needs to have a doctor check her out if she hasn't. And I would take the guy to the cleaners as they say. The only things are going to change is to make shit expensive for them. Hope she's doing well.
