Hey, just thought I'd share my recent excitement.
I was downtown yesterday, riding my motorcycle, when someone to my right in an SUV slammed the brakes *hard* and jumped left into my lane. I heard and the wheels lock up and saw smoke coming off them! There was traffic to my left so rather than swerve into it I laid the bike down.
The emergency-response people were great, and the police gave me a report that makes it very clear who was at fault. (Not Me.) So now I just need to heal my massively-sprained-ankle so I can start riding again.
I'm gonna miss Mountaineerzz this w/end and Wolfpack on Mon, but I'll be back soon for more of that sweet F.U.N.
Thanks everyone.
I'll post a picture of my ankle.
If you can believe it, I took a bus back to my bike after I got out of the hospital and it started (!) so I rode it home with no left footpeg.
Thanks again my Ridazzz
Get well soon Adam, it is a good thing you got motorcycle skills. A lot of people don't even know that laying the bike down is an option. They just grab the brakes and freeze.
Good thing is I have someone to ride with on WPH while you recover..... for about 30 minutes.
Thanks Coach.. it sure could have been a lot uglier.
Can't wait to get back in the pack.
Trying to upload pics, but no go.. just a php.message
DON - How bout fixing the site man?
Bummed you won't be blazing trailzz with us today.
If you feel your shakra gettin' shaked sometime this afternoon, it's just the Mountaineerzz saying a silent prayer for your health from your favorite no-bike trail.
See you bike on the right kind of bike (the one *without* a motor) soon.
Good thing is I have someone to ride with on WPH while you recover..... for about 30 minutes.

Glad you were able to get your bike. When I spoke to the attendants they said that if you did not get it out by 9pm you where gonna have to wait until the next day. heal fast.
Many thankzzz.
The healing vibes are strong.
I'll be back turning the cranks in no time.
Also: Hooray for crashes now updated w/ crash photos.
Aw heck.. I'm also gonna put the one from my last crash...
Going to go add that right now.)
Adam, I'm sorry to hear about the crash :o( I went for a ride Saturday on the bike you were helping out with. It was great but I am realizing that yes, everyone is out to kill you... be safe and feel better soon man!
