Car Accident on CRANKMAS

I was on the ride last night, and when we hit that steep downhill going into China Town, I saw a car pushing hard uphill only to look behind me to see a guy hitting the hood and rolling over the top of the car and hitting his head on the pavement...I'm not going to lie The impact was so bad I thought the guy was dead. Did anyone else see this? and if so was the guy ok? I was worried about him. I couldn't stop because of how fast, the ride and I were going. And when I came back the ambulance had already cleared the scene.

Wow. That sounds really bad. Does anyone know the person who got hit? Did the car stop?

I heard about this too. DOnt know know what happened. But I heard someone say he was on the other side of the street and flew over the car. But all just hear say.

I think I rolled by the aftermath .. All I saw was an ambulance, bikes parked and someone on a stretcher ..

unfortunately someone had to be an example, but i hope this is a good lesson for the punk ass kids riding on the wrong side of the road (especially flying downhill?? stupid much??)
i hate seeing the kids on the left side. there's no reason for it, it's stupid, and it puts a bad impression on group rides to the public.
if you want to go fast, want the space to ride, or want to get ahead, i have solutions!!! you can move to the back and try to make it to the front, as i do often when i'm bored on rides, riding in the back will give you space, and getting ahead is much more challenging in the group! although it requires much tact and patience that punk ass kids most likely don't have, so on second thought, don't do that. you'll probably crash into me. also, you're more than welcome to ride alone, no?

lets see loser1. how often do cars drive on the wrong side of the road on crank mob. how often do idiots on bicycles drive on the wrong side of the road on crank mob. now if he was to hit this car head on what are the chances this car was driving on the wrong side of the road in the middle of 1000 bikes and only hit this idiot?

dude said car was pushing up hill, this was happening as we were all going down the hill
maybe i'm reading it wrong, but it sounds like the bike duder was on the wrong side of the road...hmm....

OK I looked at the original post and this is where it saids he was on the wrong side. By "top of the car" I'm assuming he means the roof of the car. I was thinking the hood of the car.

he was riding on the wrong side of the road, and by top I did mean roof. It was a really ugly sight, I just wanted to know if the kid was OK, lesson in hard knocks I guess.
