This thread is for people who are still looking for rooms, rides and anything else pertaining to the upcoming Las Vegas Convention Ride.

kids, this is an easy one. Get together with four people or less or more (depending on your preference). We are staying at Terribles, (you can book a room some where else if you desire). Somebody secure the reservation (a call and a credit card).
there you go, you got yourself a room now
the rooms left on there website are $97 or $108 a nite.
Still show $86 on www.sidestep.com
If you ain't got the people, get the room and they will come, quit waiting for someone else to do it.
Get a room, get it together, go to vegas, ride bikes, have fun.

anyone down to camp? Cubzz are going, might be interested in a GypsyCampSite or similar. maybe corral enough carzz to make an old-fashioned wagon circle...AWESOME!

Marcus I might be down to camp. I cancelled my reservations at terribles after my creditcardfraud incident. Do we know of any good camp sites in Vegas.

Sexy, can my brother and I have two of your extra slots?
p.s. If people help with gas, I can drive my truck. It fits only 3 comfortably (including driver)... BUT it can hold 6 or more bikes. Ideally, if one car caravans with my (my truck) we can bring 6 or 7 people and 6 or 7 bikes.

yes, Sir Laugh-a-Lot and Rev. Dak, can stay in Sexy's Cabin.
Everybody should put down a realistic cost of what gas is going to be for the round trip cost. You know your mileage, you know the cost of gas, put the total and then people can divide that by how many people get in the car. Some folks need to budget themselves. It's about 600 mile round trip, plus add 40 to 50 for misc b.s. while in town. If that is needed. It is always better to estimate on the side of costing more, and being happily surprised that it was less then the estimated cost, then having cost overruns and being pissed about the overcharges.

How about an easier way to do this?
If you reserved a room, post here and list the people who are going to be staying with you. If you have open spots, make that clear as well.
I think staying with eric, is this true? Where's my pigeon?

we got room for a couple peeps if they need a place to crash. We actually decided to stay till Sunday (well most of us). we got a dope ass place on the strip at the Polo Towers. send me an email if you need to crash. It's gonna be cheap.

My truck gets about 15 mpg on highways. @ ~$3.20 & 600 miles round trip, I figured it to be $128 round trip for gas. I can easily fit 6 bikes in it + luggage. I can fit 3 peeps comfortably in truck (small carry-on only).

Hey all...
I wanna get out there for this ride... the only thing is that i have to be back Saturday for my sisters bday party.
My friend Dave and I are down to make the trip Friday afternoon and come back Saturday afternoon.
Does anyone have anyone room for the night (2peeps) or are any of yous gonna actually be camping?( im thinking i might just be into camping)

we are camping...which means sleeping in and near a car wherever we end up. you can definitely catch us and do the same, no reason to book now!

No one has bit on my offer to drive, my truck, which fits several (like 6 or 7) bikes, but only fits 2 or 3 peoples. But I'm still set for going to Vegas. So I need a ride, because driving by myself is expensive.

2 spots just opened up in the truck i'm driving. That's 2 plus their bikes. (possible room for more bikes!)
approximate cost (2 way trip):
(~600 miles) / (~15 mpg) x (~$3/gallon) / (4 people) = ~$30/person
