tomorrow will be my first ride, i am excited, but just concerned.
will i lag it since i am on my mountain bike?

not true...it depends on the person...on my first ride with the MR (Critical Mass LA) i was on a MTB and stayed at thr frount the whole time

Make sure your tires are pumped up. Sooooooooooo many times I see ridazz rolling on cruisers and MTB with 25-30 psi. Read the side of the tire on the MAX PSI and pump them up to that. It would be like doing the ride with half the energy needed. Use the energy saved to laugh and sing!

Welcome aboard... bring pillow!

Do me a favor and make sure you start out on front at the begining and after all breaks. This will help you keep a good pace and also if you start lagging you will still be with the majority of the group at the back by next stop (and not left alone). I see to many newbies who start rolling kinda late, they lose the group.
