graffiti is a poor man's advertising campaign....
as long as companies like Clear Channel and Viacom can erect thousands of illegal billboards across this city and make billions off of it and dodge paying fees and taxes and tie up our court system in litigation when the city tries to fine them then fuck it. Take back the public space in your face. just know when the right time is to do it.

That first video looks like the guy was just wiping off the grime from the walls. Great job and idea! Looks to me like the city doesn't have a case. what are you going to charge him with?
Really both examples are of graffiti being rendered legal. I saw the second one awhile ago. Should be just a matter of time till theres a article in one of favorite mags,
