ride/pool party/bbq?

I know I don't know most of you but...
Anyone want to ride from my apt in Long Beach to my mom's house in Garden Grove? It's approximately 16-ish miles. We can swim all day, have a BBQ, and then ride back to LB. My mom tells me every day: "The pool is nice and clean, invite people over to swim." Not only is there a diving board, but we also have a water slide. yeah. it's pretty neat. just sayin'.
Thought it would be a fun & nice idea while it's still summer.
I work Mon-Fri so it'll most likely fall on a Sat or Sun.
Anyone down?
If so, holla and let's do this.

i'm willing to have it any sat or sun. just seeing if there was a certain weekend that worked out bette for most people.

garden grove is in east of LB (obviously) past Westminster.
my mom's house is on harbor and garden grove blvd, right off the 22 fwy.
approx 16 miles from LB. it's a nice ride.
2nd st in belmont turns into westminster going east.
ride that all the way and then left onto harbor. and wahlaa!

Just not C.R.A.N.K. MOB weekend. We need all our strength to survive and recover from crank mob so this weekend is out. Plan it for any other weekend though!

The 30th is burning man
Every weekend there is 5 other things going on.
Just do it whenever you feel like.
And since it's a day ride people still have time to go somewhere else at night.
It's Aug 12 already. If you don't do it soon the summer will be over.
Don't worry about it. Make it happen.

Yeah, make it any day you want. Either way, there's always some other rides going on. That's what happened with Craft club. They were trying to decide on a day without getting in the way of too many things, but it's really impossible.

ps. i'm making vegan cupcakes, spinach dip, and a bunch of other goodies. i'm trying to see if my friends band will play. if not, we can have cannonball contests or something. i'll add it in the Ride Section later.
