The Funeral at LACM

So I guess we rode by some memorial service on Friday night on Venice Blvd. It was a private event in front of an apartment building, but some of the attendees got a little upset that we were yelping, blowing whistles and doing what we always do on an LACM ride.
Supposedly one of the riders got beaten up....where were the cops then?
I believe in respect and reverence for a memorial service, but I think the gangsters who beat up the rider overreacted.
Who was the rider and is he OK?

What? I saw the vigil that they were having on the right side and turned off my music off right before we got to them (thanks to the rider that pointed it out to me) but I didn't hear anything about one of our riders being beaten up.

they tried to punch me cause i tried to say sorry and then they were trying to come after the last riders but we all left to the next street and then fixed that guys tire and also checked to see if he was ok.... he said he was fine......

Wow. We were out of town and missed the ride, but did anyone notice in the picture of the memorial service the banner that says, "Bring Peace to Our Community?"
