So my bag went missing at the Revenge of the Nerds Ride tonight. Although I AM sentimental about the bag and could tell you a zillion stories about why I should have it... and NOT whoever has it right now, I'll spare you all and just ask that if anyone has it...PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE return it. I was stupid to take it off for a second to make a super awesome cheerleader pyramid and dance to a couple songs w/ friends. I was stupid to think that it would be safe for a few minutes in a group of people who I feel *so* OK with... I forget that this is something ANYONE can show up to, and that includes people who don't give a fuck about what their actions mean for someone else... so here, IF you are even reading this. My name is Nicole Arneson, Maybe you saw that on my ID or my Social Security Card or my personal calender... or my Notebook/Journal... or my permit for my commercial drivers license, which without, I cannot continue training for my JOB. I cannot cash my check, and you have my last 40 bucks. Hey. You also have a tool kit and a really cool first aid kit that I got from one of the best rides I've been on. you also have a my spoke card for the ride tonight, and the keys to my bike lock. That MR logo on it was put there by Roadblock and all the sweat in the strap is belong to me! I've been on rides all over L,A, with it, Portland SF(see pic!) and New York while wearing it. The liner is worn through, it's not even water resistant and the belt strap is all janky from me getting it caught in my wheel. I lied I'll not spare anyone! I'm pissed and sad and I know I'll be over it tomorrow or the next day, and maybe I'll be hopeful for weeks... OH yeah... my phone too. Anyway. Anyway, if you are reading this and you have my bag or if you know who has it, I would really appreciate it back.

Please just return the bag. Nicole is the coolest nicest Rida on the planet and she really doesn't deserve this.
Drop it off at Bike Kitchen and leave a note saying who the bag belongs to.

I think ....if you are reading this and you know of the whereabouts of Nicole's bag you stand to make more by returning it.
Marino and I are offering a reward to get to it. It can be dropped off somewhere, the bike oven or where ever and a reward can be left with whoever and as Marino said, "no questions asked!!".

If you drop her bag off at the Kitchen, you don't even need to label it or anything. Just leave the bag next to the counter or something today or tomorrow and I'll make sure it gets back to her.

I thought of something! My calender AND my notebook have my address in them! like for cereal... so like, the person could probably just drop those on my porch and maybe my license, if they were feeling kind-ish. keep the bag, even... ugh. Thanks for everyone, Borfo Harry, Marino, Marcus... all of your thoughtfulness is making this easier. If it doesn't turn up I'll survive, but what a pain in the ass... and that notebook has ALL my great ideas about BIKE CAMP! uuuggghhh! I'm really hoping someone turns it over!

Since there are a lot of kids that read the ride calendar but never read the forums, maybe post a REWARD "RIDE" where the reward is given, and the bag returned. There has been known theft around on the rides, and are known thieves from Ridazz. maybe a reward post in the sidebar would help. I would post, but I'm leaving and wouldnt be able to do much after.

damn, sorry to hear about this.
for a while now on rides i have been locking up my bike whenever i'm a way from it and i never leave my stuff outta sight. i'll always usually have my back pack on my back, even if it's heavy as hell. there are alot of people i trust, but there are also few i don't trust.
i'm broke as fuck, but i got $10 to contribute towards the reward money.

I got $50 on it too.
Just got back from the parking lot it was stolen at. I was thinking chances are the thief just wanted the cash and contents and threw the bag itself away in the vicinity.... I combed the lot, dumpsters and portapottys, all the trash cans etc.... bushes.... bum nests.... didn't see it. But Nicole and a group you might want to go down there and comb yourself and double check.... look in all the trash cans and so forth.
Hope you get your bag back nicole.

I've got $50 on it. That comes out to $260. You return the bag, with the notebook, license, social security card, commercial drivers permit, calendar, and SIM card, then you

(or anyway, that's what my $50 goes toward = the irreplaceable stuff.)

I just had the funniest 12 second day dream... it was me finding a navy blue bag, not even a chrome bag and drawing a MR skull on it w/ white out and putting on a fake mustache and bringing it to Bike Kitchen for my reward... hahaha. Sorry you'd have to be in my brain.. It's like Mr. Bean + Faulty Towers 24/7!

ok, look, if it was a hommie, I wont hold it against you. I am not in this for anything but to get her stuff back (bag or no bag). Dude she really is a super cool chick. I will front the reward money to you NO QUESTIONS ASKED. I dont care who you are and WILL NEVER REVEAL WHO YOU ARE!!!!! I could care less about the shit that goes around on rides. Honestly, I just hope the notebook and calender and keys get mailed to me or something. I am so grateful for everyone who is offering a reward but I think it's too much $... I swear it's not worth that much! I wrote the above plea for my bag when I was super upset about the whole thing, and I'm still upset but so far, life is going on. I had a great weekend and I am finding that the things I was really worried about replacing are not too too hard to replace... just time consuming. I am so lucky to have such awesome people who care about me. Who ever stole it is a sad sorry pissant and I might even feel a little sorry for THEM. If you guys wouldn't think me ungrateful, I am totally OK w/ the revocation of the reward monies. If someone wants to return it, it's because they are awesome and I will be so happy I will probably give them my 1st born child!!! The people that have me smell gross and I think they may be a little retarded. Seriously, I've never been around such stupid people. I'm starting to get the impression that they are dumb enough to believe that they will be better off NOT returning me for the reward money. Oh, mixte! I didn't know how much you lost in that bag. Your social security card??! And you can't train without your license? I think it's $15 to replace a driver's license. If you need the $15, I can give it.
As for the rest of the stuff ... dude. If you're a rider, you KNOW how important it is to have tools on you. (And if you're not a rider, you don't deserve a Chrome bag with a hand-done MR stencil on it). You're fucking her shit up by keeping her stuff. Yeah, already you've put her out the cost of the tools, which she'll have to replace. But until she does replace them, she could be stranded on the side of the road god knows where, miles from a bike shop.
Just give it back. Be a decent human being and choose NOT to fuck someone over. No one deserves this — but @mixtemotions is made out of goodness and light. She really, really doesn't deserve this! She learned her lesson, okay? Don't leave bags unattended. (I learned this lesson recently too.) Very funny prank, very good, lesson learned. Now give it back.

Seriously though, I was feelin your enthusiasm about training for a triathlon, and we laughed when your Helmet bounced out of your basket and rolled like a bowling balll toward bikers(okay that part wasn't funny)but no one crashed or got hurt, and your overall attitude that night was awesome. then someone goes and steals your thunder. Actually a chicken bone leg is too small, let me bump that up to a turkey leg bone.
