Thanks for a fun ride. We'll have to go again and actually make it to the top (some dumbass almost drove his car off of Mt. Baldy Rd. and they closed it off 6 miles from Baldy Village).
I've never been so entertained while climbing for miles on end.
Except that I was expecting fireworks and got flowers. Cute.

Pretty awesome guys! It was great fun hanging out and climbing some hills with you all. The ridge section is beautiful! And to think, on my ride out this morning I was watching the dolphins play, then to see views like that was totally amazing!!. Did you guys end up coming down 39?

Ahhhhhhhhhhh.... Not sure yet. The lifts are just a few Steeeeeep miles more but the village is a good stop point

Wow. We went up San Gabriel Canyon Road which is CLOSED. Sweet. Not a car and two other cyclists the whole climb. We went to 5000 feet. Thunder heads rolled in so we turned around plus ran out of water.

I want to start climbing by 9am so, meetup 8am at Encanto Park in Duarte (605 and 210) for an easy warmup before the *hard* climbing.

We met up with a couple roadie friends from Redondo, who helped me bonk 6 miles from the top. I think only one of the 4 of us actually made it to the ski lifts. This is definitely a ride i'll have to repeat!!!
