Yes I know it is late in the week, but truly this week honor I feel should go to Jared Leto.
Jared brought back so much excitement back to this board. Jared inspired many philosophical debates about life as bicyclist such as, doing what you love for money or doing it because it is what you love, among other things. He got people participating in this forum on different level who have been absent for some time. He employed some ridazz and got them paid. Some didn't get paid so he did what he could to get them paid. His production this week hooked up ridazz with Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwiches (nice vegan touch) and Red Bulls. Jared comes out to rides when he could obviously (my assumption) get into any club around town or go to some swank parties. He had ten threads created with him as the focus point in one weeks time. Let face it folks this man is a natural celebrity, the movie world, the music industry and the midnightridazz.com website.
Plus JaLeto is mi dawg!
Let leave all the debates out of this and just honor our fellow rida Jared Leto this week.

I remember him riding on Barchopz. He also rode LACM and the People's. So yes, congrats to Jared Leto. He certainly deserves the honor. ROTW

I agree. His production crew wasted a lot of my time with their lies, now that they got the people they needed, they will be gone. Does anyone remember Dayrl Hanna and the farm downtown? Seen her lately? I don't understand this starstruck crap at all.

yeah, but Daryl Hannah was hot. And I was I surprised to see her there... but again... Jared Leto is hot too.
That was a crazy ride.... do you remember that car that tried to plow through the rider before we hit the farm? I'll never forget that... it could have been bad...

OK I'll take it! But you have to answer these questions correctly. If I worked 11 hours at fiasco, which some are claiming it was a ride. And I'm paid minimum wage, what am I expected to receive as my wage? Also, would I feel any guilt gorging on food while my fellow ridazz are left out in the cold?

11 hrs - 8 hrs = 3 hrs
(8hrs * 1) + (3 hrs * 1.5) = 8hrs + 4.5hrs = 12.5hrs
12.5hrs * 8 $/hr = $100
and I was grubbing with all my friends on one or two rounds of delicious food, plus snacks and beverages. if anyone got left out in the cold it was because they left before lunch.
now answer me this: after an entire week, are you still having trouble with this equation? are you not able to borrow a calculator from one of your students? just how can someone become a teacher without passing 7th grade algebra?

My bad, you said 12 hours, not 11. I can dig it up if you need to be reminded. You worked 12 hours and was expected to be paid $102. I can find it easily if you don't remember. Imachynna worked 13 hours and you worked 12. She was there all the time. She never left before lunch. It's the same story with others.
So you never knew there were ridazz that were not part of the grub fest? You just thought they bailed and then for some reason was back on the ride? A couple of times?

its called an unpaid lunch break. i can't possibly imagine how anyone could have missed the lunch break, as they announced it on megaphones and stopped the production. you wouldnt know that, since you weren't there.
why dont you post about something that you do have knowledge of, such as building a birdhouse? i think the ridazz that werent fed can sufficiently speak for themselves.

Smart extras check in, hide out for most of the day, MAYBE reappear at lunch, disappear again, and then show up when it's time to get paid. Nobody usually knows the difference.
