This is a ride to MOCA's monthly event, ENGAGEMENT PARTY. ENGAGEMENT
PARTY is a series of interventions by local artist collectives the 1st Thursday of every month.
This month the visual artist collective OJO presents "Flesh Car Crash".
For Flesh Car Crash, members of OJO will split into two groups, each of which will pack into a small car. Once there, they will make music both by utilizing objects and
materials in the cars’ interiors and by playing instruments powered by the cars’
batteries. Audience members will be invited to assist with the composition. The cars will dance, glide, and narrowly miss each other in a choreographed game of chicken. The finale should be explosive!
Meet at Crank Mob Park (Venice Blvd. & Canfield Ave.) at 5pm. Ride out at 6pm.
Flesh Car Crash starts at 7pm and is FREE.

These events are always high on the audience interactivity scale and are prone to FUNNR.

FYI: this event may or may not end with a dance party and may or may not involve me and trickmilla may or may not be taking photos.
what i do know is that we start at 730 sharp so get yo asses there.
also north bound grand ave. will be closed in front of moca so enjoy it while you can.

I won't be on the ride, but I will be at MoCA and I will ride my bike there.
Maybe we can ride somewhere afterwards.

THANKS FOR SETTING THIS UP AND COMING TO THE PERFORMANCE EVERYONE!
its going to be great fun to have all of you there rocking some bici love and generally make some culture and sweat!
im going to be running around like a mad man getting things organized and all.... but if you see me say hello and tell me you came in a bicycle and ill give you a big high five or hug or other socially acceptable gesture.
FYI:
just found out the KOJI taco truck will be there (havent had it yet but i hear the kids like it)
and that there will be some sort of free beverage that i am not at liberty to broadcast. wink wink

What's the bike parking situation like? Should I bring the beater bike? Or are there fairly secure places to lock up?

Better. I was almost certain I had tonsillitis yesterday, but the doctor said it was just viral, and even though my tonsils were totally swollen with white stuff on them, they are much better now. Took the day off of work to hang out in bed and rest. I GOT TO BE GOOD FOR THE WEEKEND!!!
