Recipes?
Hell Yeah!
Lets face it, our food and our drink are our fuel.
We are as addicted to that stuff as a Hummer is to dead dinosaurs.
All recipes welcome.
To make things easy, you may want to indicate if it is vegan, veggie, or omni.

Southern Peach Cobbler
8 fresh peaches - peeled, pitted and sliced into thin wedges
1/4 cup white sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
2 teaspoons cornstarch
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup white sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
6 tablespoons unsalted butter, chilled and cut into small pieces
1/4 cup boiling water
MIX TOGETHER:
3 tablespoons white sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Preheat oven to 425 degrees
In a large bowl, combine peaches, 1/4 cup white sugar, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon, nutmeg, lemon juice, and cornstarch. Toss to coat evenly, and pour into a 2 quart baking dish. Bake in preheated oven for 10 minutes
Meanwhile, in a large bowl, combine flour, 1/4 cup white sugar, 1/4 cup brown sugar, baking powder, and salt. Blend in butter with your fingertips, or a pastry blender, until mixture resembles coarse meal. Stir in water until just combined
Remove peaches from oven, and drop spoonfuls of topping over them. Sprinkle entire cobbler with the sugar and cinnamon mixture. Bake until topping is golden, about 30 minutes

Mexican Camel Toe:
You will need:
1 Large Flour Tortilla
Peanut Butter
Grated Cheddar Cheese
Diced Pepperoncinis
Spread Peanut Butter on the tortilla. Add pepperoncinis and grated cheese, wrap like a burrito and eat. It's great on camping trips.

@dan
the mix of pepperocinis and peanut butter,
is it like how its fucking way good to eat pancakes and a salty ass piece of sausage in one bite?
does the saltiness and sweetness make a flavor explosion in ur mouth and makes ur eyes bleed?
is it that good?!

You have to be really stoned to appreciate and enjoy a Mexican Camel Toe.
Joe Borfo11.25.08 - 2:50 pm

@mike, it's definitely the salty sweet thing that makes it good.
and borfo, you don't need to be stoned. you'll just eat more of them when stoned. They are tasty sober.

ooo Frozen Fluffer Nutter!!! That sounds good! I make fluffer nutters pretty much every day, which is basically the ingredients outlined above sans freezing and chocolate syrup. DE-LISH. I'm definitely going to try this one though

and gabby, fluffernutters are amazing.
I need to find some smuckers marshmallow creme, it's the only one that's vegan. I havent had a fluffernutter in WAY too long.
They're best toasted so that the contents are dripping out like sweet tasty lava.

dumpster diving with your lover!!!
my old ex was vegan and she was and still is a sweet heart but holy shit, i can never eat anything with her.
and vegan restaurants are kind of expensive.
the food was always good, just finding a cheaply priced place was hard.
now, raw vegans, i mean what the fuck? really? kudos to you bc i would kill myself if all my food had to be raw.

Brain Hemorrhage:
1/2 tsp grenadine
1 tsp irish creme
1 oz. peach schnapps
Pour the peach schnapps and then slowly pour the irish creme without mixing. The creme will clump together and settle at the bottom of the schnapps. Pour the grenadine over the creme to complete the drink.

I used to pull recipes from this site and create some great dishes. They could be complex but the instructions were pretty straight forward and created some really great foodz. I miss having enough money to cook, I made a great turkey two years ago, so good.

By the way the inspiration for starting this thread came from yesterday's lunch. I made it, I passed out, woke up and there was like 40 posts ... weee.
Yesterday's Lunch:
Chicken Mole Arroz
- Leftover Chicken Mole Negro (mine came from Mi Lindo Oaxaca)
- rice
- olive oil
- water
1. heat some olive oil in a pan with a lid
2. add left over chicken (stripped from the bone) and mole sauce ... get it bublin'.
3. add a cup of rice.
4. once the ride is nice and black add two cups of water.
5. bring to a boil, reduce heat, and cover.
6. Serve with Tapitio and cheese (i used greek feta but anything will do).
Enjoy!

The Old Man's Breakfast:
In a 24-oz (3 cup) container:
* Fill 3/4 full with mixed cut fruit (5 LB pack from Costco good for almost a week)
* 4 to 8 non-sorbate prunes (Trader Joes has them, not gooky)
Top off with:
* Sliced toasted almonds
* Walnut bits
* Handful of Pomegranite Arils (one Pom good for maybe 3 days)
Drizzle with balsamic vinegar
Overfill with your favorite yogurt (can't add too much when there isn't room)
Standing over sink, eat it down until you can mix it without spilling anything. Add more yogurt to fill the voids.
Sit down, put legs up on breakfast table, towel on shirt and enjoy the rest.
