Bike L.A. Photo Pool

Some folks on here know I shoot a lot of bicycle photography and
post to flickr. There are some flickr groups for bikes in different places, but the few that were around for L.A. were pretty stagnant, so I created a new one. I want to the group to focus on peoples best work, so a photographer can only submit 3 photos at a time and they are all reviewed before being posted. I will be posting a steady trickle of some of my own favorite pics from my collection, but I'm most excited to see the material other talented eyes have been shooting.
Group Summary On Flickr:
Documenting the bicycle culture of L.A.
Midnight Ridazz, beach side cruisers, lo-riders, roadie club rides, bmx tricks, racers, commuters, freak bikes, are all fair game. Photos should all be in the expanse of urban mass we call Los Angeles. Can include the outlying regions of L.A. County as well.
Content should be about bikes, but does not necessarily need to feature a bicycle as part of the composition in the context of a bicycle gathering or event. Although a picture is always better with a bike in it, according to the third law of science I just made up.
Select your best images only, curated entry. No whack, out of focus (unless it looks cool) pics off a camera phone. Looking for artistic eyes for composition, or captures of unique moments. So submit away, but no guarantees that all images will be accepted.

SEEMS KINDA LIKE JUST ANOTHER PHOTO DUMP, CAN ANYONE SEE THEM, WITH OUT JOINING A GROUP?

Yes anyone can publicly view the photos, either through visiting the
Flickr Group Page, or the
RSS Feed. The only thing that requires membership is if you would like to post your own photos.
This is also not some place to just dump a bunch of photos. As mentioned a photographer can only submit 3 photos a day, and no photos are posted until reviewed. I also scout through some of the cool bike photos from LA on flickr and invite particular photos I think would be a cool addition to the group.
Flickr is the biggest, and from my experience most well put together website for online photography and social sharing, and thought the LA bike culture should be well represented there. Many MR photographers are already flickr users and I've invited the ones I knew of to the group already.

Eddie - don't be RBI - you're not as good at it. (double flame!!!)
Follow those links and you can see the photos for yourself. Gary's put together a really awesome group of photos thus far - definitely some of the best work in the scene including some awesome shots by digablesoul, ipsofatso, and E-Rock.

Right now this is only really set up for accepting photos on flickr, but if you have a link to a photo by another rida on flickr that you think is super awesome and would make a cool addition, you can send me the link and I can send an invite. Either by posting to this thread or I can be reached via e-mail at g a r y r i d e s b i k e s @ g m a i l . c o m
I also want to reiterate that the group is for all the bicycle culture going down in L.A.. MR is certainly a big component of that, but I'd love to also see quality shots of other stuff like commuters, bmx, mountain, or what ever as long as it relates to bikes in some way and is in L.A. county or close vicinity.
