the muppet movie is airing on the 25th, sooooo this sunday. its $10 to get in. drinking is strongly encouraged. we went to see the original version of the wicker man two weeks ago and had a blast.

Cheech and Chong's classic from the 70s was their first and most hilarious feature film. Two worlds of comedy collide when a chicano from the neighborhood and a rich wayward hippie join forces against the Man. See Chong meet Cheech while hitchhiking on the pacific coast highway. Follow their smoked out exploits as they try to make it as a rock band. See them inadvertantly avoid the most frustrated cop in the world (a brilliant Stacey Keach). See them battle punk bands in the Rock Fight on the sunset strip. See Cheech and Chong go up in smoke!

yes, drinking is encouraged. they just dont want you to leave your empties laying around.
when we went to see THE WICKER MAN (1973) two weeks ago, there were people that had brought coffee tables with them and were kneeled around, drinking wine and eating cheese in candlelight while waiting for the movie to start.

They allow you to do the wine and cheese thing at the Cal Plaza Performances too. Just don't go walking your bike around there. It's far too dangerous and you'll have security from all sides swooping in on you. So the message is wine bottles, alcohol, and wine glasses safe.............. walking your bike, unsafe!
