Agreed, it gives context, without requiring an actual threaded view. A threaded view would be actually confusing. These changes actually make things clearer.
And did I mention that I LOVE LOVE LOVE that those infernal scrollbars around the forum are gone. Those were a big pain in the ass if you ask me.

I hate to say something positive cause I may lose my asshole job but FUCK YEAH for getting rid of the scrollbars. Now I can finally read this thing on my phone.

I'm confused I count no less than 3 scroll bars on my screen. The only thing that has changed appears to be an annoying " x responded to x"

your css is probably cached... use refresh or something to reload the css
also... the annoying "responding to x" thing only happens when you press reply underneath a user... if you use the reply at the very bottom of the page, it doesn't show that.

awesome glad you dig.
when we sat down and hashed it out... it was a question of, how do we keep it clean, linear and allow for quoted text without "dirtying" up the forum with redundant text......
hmmmmmm still haven't heard from PC.... I think he is just being a good rida and keep his if ya dont have anything good to say dont say anything at all cap on..... :)
change is not always good... as you can see, no matter what people are going to be rattled by change or no change.... I promise you that the new site will have a lot of change to it... but hopefully not so much that it alienates people... who knows though.... it might just be the death of ridazz... which I'm sure will make some people out there happy. :)

everything is going back to just being simple simple simple. look at twitter. look at facebook. I'm telling you, for 2003 this site was ahead of it's time.... next version will be once again ahead of it's time hopefully so much so that it wont need an upgrade for another 6 years.. hahah
