a buddy of mine moved from the US to japan to teach english.
he is a fucking giant.
he cannot find frames his size in japan.
he flies in once/twice a year to see his family for xmas and what not.
he wants to pick up a frame, approx 63cm or maybe even bigger.
if you have a bike/frames to sell, please email me and i will forward it to him.
he will be in town around xmas time.

idk how tall you are, im fairly short and to me you seemed like a giant.

@graham
nah, he just needs frames for himself. i think hes riding around on like 60cm or something and its still too small for him.
most the frames that sell out there are like 49 to 53 cm.
BUT
he plans on buying up US made frames around 51 cm or so and slanging those out for a pretty penny.

oh ahahaha
he does alright,
i think hes making like the 60k equivalent in japan.
he graduated with a history degree from csun a few years back, taught at high schools around here for like a year or two, then really wanted to check out japan so he pickd up the job and bailed out.

miyatas are nice bikes, but stem shifters and 27" tires are sort of "ehhh". plus you would have to pay to have it shipped to la.

Yeah, I saw that a while back, it was a Fuji. Haven't seen it in a while; he may have sold it finally.
One thing to know about older frames is that unlike the way they make them now, back then the only difference between a tall frame and a shorter frame was the length of the seat tube - the top tube lengths were usually all the same. So if you're not too particular about top tube length, you can ride a shorter frame by getting a longer seat post and maybe a stem with a little more rise to it.

I seem to see a lot of 60cm+ frames at the kitchen.
Sometimes they have 3 or 4.
