Can't always get down to the rides in LA so me and several others have been night riding in Santa Clarita. Is anyone out there from Santa Clarita that wants to do night rides?

next ride you guys do post it in the Rides section even if it's small you guys can get the word out.

yaah, im in santa clarita and all my friends and i are sooo down. we were thinkin about starting up rides in scv. i am down for whatever so let me know when its goin to happen

anyone from SCV responsible enough to start a bi-weekly ride. whats up with this place...we should get freaked out and ride out to mentryville in pico canyon and tell ghost storys...

as long as it doesn't involve the mcbean or tournament hill.. i am possibly down.
first you have to actually get us to leave the TV for more than 5 minutes.
seriously though, we've been talking about riding in scv for months. we're lazy.

um yeah. too much television is totally detrimental to society.
you guys want SCV to have any cycling community stuff, you SCV peeps prob should take some more initiative. I have spent a lot of time riding around SCV on my own and it's got a lot of cool things, the terrain however needs more expert navigation and intimate knowledge of the hills and areas devoid of 7-11's.
once I rode my ross barracuda from San Fernando road/Sierra highway, to the Placerita Canyon Nature center, and to my dad's house on Dove Willow past Via Princessa. it was a lonely but fulfilling bicycle ride. there's also that really long bike path in that dried out river thing.

I'm in SCV as well and I'd be down for a ride over here, there is a wed ride at 7 I think they meet at peets coffee I'll be there this weds

most of the shit lady hand jams and i were saying back and forth are jokes, as she practically lives with me [ her boyfriend is my roommate. ]
they used to do that lafixed wed right i think.. but i thought it stopped happening? they go too fast for me.

I'm kinda fit right now start riding with me and the Newhall bike peoples and we'll get you to what ever speed you want to get to.
If going crazy fast is not your thing that's very cool, I have more then one kind of bike for any kind of ride I just like to have fun so hit me up if you're feel like riding.

yes, I also have a caddy of varied bicycle types and the ability to move them at the generally accepted speeds.

ok I worked out for a ride in santa clarita every Tues, The Fast and the Delicias' ride will meet at 630 ride at 7 sharp, remember cash only at Las Delicias and the ride will meet and end there.

I saw some younger riders (about 15 riders) on fixed gears up there off Newhall Ranch Rd at the Walgreens by Gelsons on Thursday night leave about 8:30pm
