My single speed is dubed "Old Blue".
I found it in a Hawiian gardens thrift store a year ago.
It was fixed when I bought it, but I've had it nutered.
I must say, your bike is Bluer than my bike.

Totally into the name game:
I dubbed my first single-speeder (resurrected from an abandoned 1970s 10-speed) The Phoenix. After she suffered a fatal frame crack last January, her all-black replacement was christened "Le Noir."

Gav,
here are some Swedish names.
My first bike, a Nishiki mixte with a fat cassette and good solid tires, is named "Doug" because a.) no one's named Doug anymore, and b.) "Doug" sounds like a stable, capable individual.
My second bike, a fixed gear Giant Quasar, is named "Thomas" after my Irish grandfather. He moved his family to the States because his teenage daughters wanted to study medicine, & so he enabled a better life for his family. Thomas (the bike) has improved my quality of life a lot, not to mention taking me to distant lands (Lincoln Heights).
But I never refer to my bikes by these names. Instead I call them "The Nishiki" or "The Giant."

Didn't think this thread would turn out to be depressing...
If someone stole my bike, I would go on a Punisher-Style ass-whooping spree.
Its almost like someone stealing a horse or beloved pet...
Not Cool
