Copied this from my blog news flash on the upcoming art show by fellow transit issue bloggers at the bus bench blog:
Molyneux and BusTard of the hard hitting transit blog
The Bus Bench, are about to destroy a car in collaboration with
The Loft Studios for the art show Post-Post-Apocalypse. The Murder Your Car! project goes down at 7:30 pm this Saturday in San Pedro.
Have you been buzzed by, yelled at,
grabbed, or
hit by someone driving a car? Want some cathartic release and vengeance by beating a car with a baseball bat? Then go forth this Saturday and help murder a car!

it doesn't make any sense to 'murder the car' because the car isn't driving itself.
i'd say 'murder the person who's driving the car' but that's not PC or socially acceptable.

I unfortunately have other commitments, but I thought there might be some peeps around here with a blood thirst for some car beating.

Well since murdering a driver is beyond not being PC and in fact being criminal, the symbolic destruction of the car will have to do.

How about putting a mannequin in the car, yanking it out and beating it to a pulp?
Remember, "You are not a car!"

Who is this meandmybluebike? He seems kinda dangerous advocating murder and stuff. Looks like he already murdered his gf and one of his dogs. :-(

I still remember vividly going to a local fair in New Hampshire when I was around eight years old and there was a car there you could take three whacks at with either an axe or a sledgehammer for $5. I was too small to even pick up an axe, but thought that was the coolest thing ever.

if you hike up to the northern top end of de soto in the valley, you can hike into an abandoned missile silo.
there are like 23 old police cruisers there that are riddled in bullet holes.
theres also a bunch of big boulders you can use to smash in windshields.
go there if you wanna smash cars. i guarantee you its a blast.
oh yeah and you can hike into abandoned red scare built missile silo bunkers.
its pretty rad.

the pic on the left is the silo with missiles but those are long gone now. just empty missile holes.
look out for rattle snakes
and be sure to bring flashlights even if its daytime.
silos are dark bc half the lids are closed.
also have flashlights so creepers like eddie dont come attacking you from the dark.
jk

oh and one more thing to look out for are hang gliders.
i know weird,
but those hills have a lot of geothermal spots apparently, so a lot of hangglider dudes fly around there really low.

That's definitely a doable ride. It's about 22 miles from the end of the Red Line station. Sounds like a nice summer ride!

hmmm
its a tough ride, its a really steep climb for like a mile or 2.
also, there is no way to bike it during summer.
it gets REALLY hot up there.
id say a nice "winter" saturday or sunday is ur best bet

When I first went and shot firearms up in Wyoming, a JUNKED out Expedition off the side of a state highway was the practice-target.
.40 cal S & W, .357 Ruger Single-Six, Remington 270, and the SKS!!!
And then there's running it over with a Peterbilt 379!!!
