I put this up as a response to another thread, but think it needs its own message, sorry to double-post......


btw (to those mentioning LBCM) whats the deal?

LAfixed says 7pm at the pyramid
bikeboom says 7pm at the bikestation
critical-mass.info says 6pm at the bikestation
craigslist bikefo says it doesn't happen anymore

I was out of town for June, but I was at the bikestation at 7pm in May an no one showed up.

Now I know it'll be nothing like good old Chicago, but I miss me some CM goodness.

Although this 7pm BS pisses me off, its timed for rush hour for a reason.

Maybe I should just suck it up and take the train to LACM.

There's like three or four weekly rides that LB does. Like it was said, all the info is on LAF. BTW, the last LBCM ride I did had about 100 ridazz on it. That was a ride about 5-6 months ago.

yeah I finely went to LAf the day I posted this......I think I may have heard of it before, but my bike has gears and fixie riders are crazy, so maybe I was avoiding it or something.

Although I guess I prob shouldn't knock it till i've tried it, but seriously, I go up a hill like every day that there's no way I could get up early in the morning while half asleep without gears.

Whatever, its a good site, full of like actual useful information.
