818,
Weren't you just talking about spending big bucks on bikes and stuff less than a week ago? Are being forced to penny pinch? LOL welcome to the club!

Is everybody so poor that they can't afford to spend money on something that is the center of there life?
Upgrading to modern equipment is worth it.
Suffering from Bicycle itus I spend most of my income on bikes,
and cycling gear. And have no regrets, even when I am broke
I have a bad ass bike to ride.
If your forced to pinch pennys the rest of your life buy old steel.

I'm only pinching right now due to no work for the past month.
But watch, once I jump back into it, I'll be back to my monetary-splooging habits in no time.
Basically, what happens to you when you have no one, but yourself to take care of.
That and temptation is very hard to resist.

Well, the psychological trauma of fucking up is still with me, I'll say that much.
But onto the point of saving and making money, I usually offer the advice of "getting better at what you're doing" as opposed to "changing paths".
Good example would be shining brightly and excelling at your retail position and using it as an excellent reference for when you decide to move up there, or another company.

Not to sound like a sop, but it's been almost two years and I feel as though I can't move on.
