 As long as I'm not getting the gang-bang stare-down from someone while chomp a steak, then vegetarians and vegans are no one to fear in my book.
Some do it for trendiness, while there are others who may have noticed significant changes in their personal health after ditching animals after a week.

 Why the hate for vegans?

Getting worked up about people who prefer to get through the day without animals getting killed or exploited on their behalf seems a bit silly. Especially since said killing/exploitation is wholly unnecessary.

Sure, some of us can be pretentious and annoying and smug and holier than thou, but if that's the sort of thing you don't like, then you're probably going to have the exact same issues with certain members of the cycling community.

Fuck annoying people. Love vegans. (Besides, there are only about 5-10 real vegans in L.A. anyway, so it's not like we're a threat to anyone.)
