I never really considered myself a fan, but I seem to know all the songs that I can find on youtube. How do I even know the songs, don't remember seeing them or even remember having any of the music they made, maybe I did? Did they ever play them on the radio?
Did they play at those clubs of the day? Scream, cathouse, etc. Did DJ Joseph spin them?
God bless Rodney, indeed...but MD actually got airplay during peak listening hours. They were kinda "LA famous," I guess.
Yeah. Raji's. That place was the real thing. I remember going to a Lunachicks gig there (the original location...the one in the building that got all cracked up in the '94 earthquake or whatever) one night where they had to let them keep playing encores past their legal closing time because the damn audience would have rioted otherwise.
