ive been to salton and ive seen this documentary and lemme just say, they couldnt have picked a better narrator...john waters rocks my universe...almost as much as hunky daddy who is just as charming in person as you are all about to see in the movie
If you didn’t go to salton sea last year and are planning on going this year, I highly recommend you watch this to find out where you are going and who SOME of your neighbors may be…
It is a fun watch

nicki and i are the ones driving. we are meeting at nicki's house earlier than that to hang out. we are leaving there at 830. do you want me to pick you up and then go to nicki's?
310 878 7680 and my sn is the same as my name here.
Is this super secret location super secret cause no one knows where it's at? Or is it super secret cause it's a new location and no one has ever been there before?
Your place is amazing, and thank you so much for having all of us! The combination of projector & mad floor space in a home blew my mind!! I was walking out of there discussing with some people how awesome it would be to have a place like that.
Also, I missed the part about where the donations can be made for this trip... Is there a paypal account?
16 DAYS! Can we get a countdown going on this website? "XX Days until Salton Sea"

@johnnyboy, Rev. Dak is going to set that up this weekend, and we'll post the info all over the MR boards, and to the google group.
@EVERYBODY: Thanks for coming out, last night was a blast. And to all of you who came from the far left side of our fair city, you fucking rock for trucking to the other side of the hills.
Riding from Dak & Stephs new crib, a courageous and sneaky bump in the road jumped up and tossed Molly into an elbow and knee bashing roll... When i heard the noise i immediately turned around and in doing so, i snapped my frame!! TOTALLY BROKEDEDED!!!!
I've never had something like this happen before - twas CRAZY!
But alas, we're both fine and THANK YOU GUIZE FOR THE F.U.N.!!!
Dang we didn't even know you guys were behind us. Hope she's ok.
Thanks Ms. Stephanie and Rev. Dak for hosting last night. The movie brought back a flood of fond and not so fond memories. Marino getting pissed at Fluffa is a fond memory I'll always treasure. For it was this incident that behaviorists coined the term "camp rage."
Borfo, do you have a giant room-sized image-searching Borfogricator? How do you always have the perfect images? I am a student of your posts, Wise One.
“When I stumbled on the Salton Sea, I didn’t understand its history, I didn’t know what it was,” he said. “It sounds really naive now, but I thought I had discovered some atomic test site. You had all these flooded shorelines and buildings and things, and I had done the not smart thing of going out there in the middle of summer when it’s 120 degrees out. I didn’t see anyone who lived down there, because they were all inside, but it kind of felt like this 1950s suburban ghost town. As a filmmaker, how can you not fall in love with a place like that? It’s weirdly beautiful.”
