Ride from Southeast to LACM

Thinking of ridding out to LACM from the southeast area (Huntington Park, South Gate). Was thinking of heading north on Santa Fe or Alameda (the side street one!) but don't really know which route to take east!?
I'm thinking a big street so I guess my options are Washington, Venice, Pico, Olympic, or Whilshire. Or should I find a smaller street till I get there? Suggestions!?
Also, if anyone wants to join; Let me know I guess so we can setup a ride!!

i think we're just going to wing it and see were the road takes us. for sure up Pacific (Long Beach) till it turns and still on -> Right and up Alameda side street. Just fyi. If anyone is interested, we're going to post up at the ihop on santa fe and gage until 4:40pm and then take off with ample time for whatevers! if anyone wants us to hold up; i'll last check this at 4:20. after just txt me at three two three four seven two five six three eight.
not posting it up on the rides just in case anything doesn't happen. but we'll still be at the ihop for those like 20min!!

Normandie which runs north/south is a good road to take for part of this.

We (Nocturnal Cyclists) have ridden to and from HP before. We took Santa Fe back to LA. And everytime I rode to LACM from my pad, I took Olympic to Normandie and then left on Normandie until Wilshire & Western.

sorry about not getting your comments on time... i checked the last comments as i said i would but i guess never made it to read these... it actually was fun! except that i was taking two new riders (my bro and his pal) and we didn't stop at ihop like i said! ran late!! sorry!
next time though, i'll post a ride so you guys can join us!
