Vehicles? I have been moving my shit 4-6 small packed boxes by bicycle less than a mile from here. Yes, Im moving from residences (apartments) and been hauling most of it on my fixie and my bike trailer. it is truly an awesome and easy fucking experience...
however some of us do own cars and or trucks (i own a car). at some point i do need to still move a stove, a fridge, a bed, an entertainment center, book shelves, a giant drafting table (with air pressured hydraulic arms hat raise it and tilt it), and file cabinets so i will actually need to use a pick up truck at some point.
Can I switch vehicles with a pick up truck owning rida for a day? either wednesday or thursday. I work both evenings at papa johns and would not use that vehicle for that work i'd use it in the early part of the day and re-swap vehicles in the early evening/afternoon before i work that day. I drive a 4 door 2001 toyota corolla silver commuter sedan.
Please holla if you can help a rida out.

i know it's not a bike thread. it's about relocation, heavy freight logistics.

a.) Bump.
b.) You're moving apartments by bike. Or most of it. That's amazing. Bike-forum-thread worthy enough in my book.
c.) BUMP.

I wish I had a bruh truck to help you out!
If I may add it might be easier and sound like a better deal(other than already helping a rida out)by offering a box of that papa johns pizza : )

I had a truck. they really come in handy. but I clucked it. for a laptop. and a bike. so I didn't technically cluck it. but I like to say that I clucked it cuz it sounds funny.
uhaul's got some good deals on trucks though

i know, uhaul is the ultimate choice but i thought it be nice and cheaper to swap vehicles n pay with beer for the swap for instance. so the thread is about hauling shit by bike. 5 trips down. another 5 to go. whoo hooo!

Eddie, if you don't find a truck, I think Home Depot rents them for $20 a day and who knows what they tack on for charges. It's an option.
