ok, so my roommate got run over by a car pretty much, shes in the emergency room, nothing too major right now.

there was a witness and she got all the driver's info.

anybody have any guidance to what next?

 Hopefully you got all the info of the driver. You did call the cops right? JD will be better able to help her out on how to proceed.

MINIMUM you should get in an accident like this is the drivers license and insurance info, and fuckin call the cops. It's an accident and they are required to file a report.

 Get the police report (it will take a week or so before you can get a copy).
Photograph the bike.
Store the bike.
The insurance company will need to see it and document it themselves.
If she dosen't have insurance, all the assisting entities will be hounding her for payment-ambulance, hospital, doctor(s), xray readers blah blah.
I got hit 3 months ago and still waiting for insurance co. payment. Meanwhile, everybody wants their money NOW or they'll send me to collections.
