There are several places around LA, it really depends on how you want to get into it. If you believe in the 'magic' portion of it's power, there is a teacher in SM that was on Ripley's Believe it or not, in which he can heat his hands up hundreds of degrees without harming himself.
If you simply want to have a nice relaxing set of motions to go through, then by all means most places are suitable for that.
So yeah, what are you getting into it for?

Again, I couldn't care less about whether someone thinks it's a load of shit or not. I'm not here to make you believe, I'm simply here sharing links to information I have passed by before.
BTW everyone should accept jesus into their hearts, for repenting is the only true way in which to be freed from the sins in which we are born into.

No Jaz, you were not here to pass us links. You were trying to convince everyone that there is a teacher in SM that can heat his hands up hundreds of degrees without harming himself. Raising the temperature of one's fingertips to as much as 8.3°C, is far cry from hundreds of degrees. Basically you got called out on your BS.

I met a Tai Chi instructor that had been practicing for like 20 years or something. He asked us how old we thought he was.....everyone offered a range of 40-45.......he was in his mid 60s.
It's really just about keeping your body active and muscles tested. When we're 60 we'll all be able to point to our legs and say, 25 years old baby. Tai Chi just helps spread the love amongst the rest of the bod. (or so i understand)

unfortunately, i don't think there are any free-in-the-park type of tai-chi practices in la. someone once told me macarthur park, but i rode around looking for these asians and old folks and couldn't find a thing.
i will be getting an international pilates certification within the next three months, so if anyone is looking for an affordable group mat class while i'm still a student, set it up with your friends and i'll whip you into shape!
