whats his deal?

he had a few with decent components that were okay priced a couple weeks ago.

anyone have any info?

 Make sure they haven't been crashed, some show obvious signs of damage.

Also, make sure you're getting decent value for your money, some of his are way overpriced.

 don't know about his products.

He has a bad reputation for over posting ads
He had a way of posting ads where they can't be flagged.
Seeing his ads over and over again are so annoying that people post ad to encourage to flag his ads off.

He did have a bike with a damaged fork that somebody on this site called out and posted on here. He has been known to buy bikes that are a good deal and raise the price 250% on the same day.. That annoyed many people.

I think his stuff is generally overpriced. I do also feel that he raised the price of 80's japanees framed bike from $80_$120 to the the $250-$450 range by accumulating so many of these style of bikes and selling the majority of them on cl. This happened about a year and half ago. Now those bikes have come down to the $240 range.

You can do what you want, but I wouldn't buy anything from that guy.

 the reason i ask bout SGV guy is bc he was selling a super tiny roadbike, way too small for me, but had an ultegra/durace mix set up.

i was gonna pick up the bike and strip the components and wheels.
