Well, Thats it.
My only bike was stolen at school today.
How? I don't know.
How they got outta school with my front wheel locked to my rear wheel and frame? I also don't know.
I have no money to buy or build a new one.
Eh, thats so low.
And the LAUSD won't compensate. fuck... bullshit.
So, for all of you who know me or don't.
You won't be seeing much of me for awhile.
bye..

That's horrible, but that's what happens when you don't have a U-lock, unfortunately. Ride Drooby's MTN bike.

I appreciate the offer drooby, but no thankyou.

Time to go kick bubblegum and chew ass!!!!
Being landlocked, hearing this makes me think of all the Bruh-scum that live to merely piss the rest of us off by doing this shit.
If you've got you bike stamped and you see it again, steal it back or trail the perp back to the nest with heavy artillery.

Report it to the police, you would be surprised but Police actually recover in some places as many as 40% of stolen bikes, as bike thieve rings are often interrelated with other crime, but only 5% of that 40% make it back to the owner because the owner did not file a report or the bike was unidentifiable.

Run some high psi 26's if you could get a hold of some.
That ought to take some of the resistance off and give you somewhat of that feeling.

On one hand I'm like yeah don't complain if someone offers it up.
At the same time, putting myself in rayray's shoes- I'd be a twisted ball of rage if someone stole my bike. The idea of riding any other bike would make me cringe because it would remind me about the fact that my bike was stolen.
Just give him some time, he will come around.
rayray- just make sure to call it in for now, maybe by taking at least some form of action will calm your senses a bit. Best of luck man.

In the words of Mabell- "No one is turned away for lack of funds." We want you on a bike, we don't care how much money you have. All our stuff's donated anyways, it's not like we lose anything.

Awwww. Niagra would have fallen in my car too.
Ray, don't worry. A new bike will come, and maybe it won't be as awesome, but you'll grow to love it more.

Yes, your bike was good. It was sturdy, rode well, was perfect size, and looked cool for a Ray ray. But you know what? Some bikes aren't meant to be. But don't worry, I bet you'll see your bike around. And I bet the idiot who stole it didn't even know how to ride it. They proabby ate shit doing so! Just remember to get a new lock for your next bike. Everything will be A-OKAY. Now I'm going to upload pictures of you and the bike- which needed to be replaced anyway, right?- so that you can see it and feel better because at least you have photos and the memories in your heart to feel better about it.

Life only sucks if you don't lock your bike up with a U-lock.
If you leave your bike unlocked or locked up with a cable lock, well, then you get to be the latest in a long line of :( posts on this forum.

I had "Bullet-proof" masterlocks. The handcuff kind.
As good as a U-lock.

My bad Ray.
How old were your Masterlock Cuffs?
Apparently some of them can be opened with a ballpoint pen the same way the old U-locks on the youtube videos can.

i had a master lock u-lock... i used to steal my own bike, just shake it and the key thing turned and bam... kind of saddening to know it was that easy
theladiesman02.12.09 - 10:40 pm

I always u-lock unless I am in direct line of sight with the bike, and if I am parking for a significant amount of time, especially an area more prone to theft, I coil down parts not attached to the frame. I once parked at LAX for a trip, and used an industrial steel chain on the frame and front wheel, plus u-lock of frame and rear wheel and a coil through the seat rails. Everything was perfectly fine when I got back and the amount of tools needed to brake all that would be rather suspicious to airport security. I've seen a lot of these stolen bike posts on Midnight Ridazz, but I haven't heard of any stolen bikes here that were locked with at least a u-lock or one of the heavy link chains with the fat padlocks.
