End of an era. I think we will look back to 2006 -2007 as a golden time to ride on these rides in Los Angeles. I know somebody said that they all seem the same to them. I disagree.
No more Cruz with Us, no more Sin's and Sprockets. Those where my two favorite rides. Everybody (accept me) loved that CRANK MOB too, and that is gone. Just be happy you got to experience these rides.
yes, this friday will be the last monthly SINS and SPROCKETS ride. i am sad to see it go as it has been a huge part of my life for the last 2 years, but is is time for something different. i REALLY appreciate all the support that so many of you have given to our ride over the past 2 years. it is so great to see people still coming out to the ride that were at the very first one. things really have changed in the past two years as far as the biking scene is concerned, and i am happy that our ride was part of it.
i know how you feel sexy. when i started riding, SnS, cruzz with us, MR and LACM were the only rides i went on and looked foward to. i have to disagree with whoever said that all rides are the same. i dunno maybe i just miss the days of waiting around for those ride to come along.
I remember when I saw the posting for the first Sn'S ride. I thought it was gong to be like a motorcycle gang, so I felt that they where going to be like "no road bikes man, where is your chopper". Thank God for NELA CM taking us to Sn'S start that I finally got to give it a try.
When I finally went to one it was such a great ride. I'm lucky enough to have started out from the T-Rex by the Rose Garden a couple of times. Those rides where really special.
Other notable ideas from S'nS. Putting the participants from highlights of last months ride on the next months ride spoke card. Nothing was as precious as Nelson and Asian Mike shaking hands with the title "Welcome to ChinaTown" on the next month spoke card when they got so wasted the month before that they had to get car rides home. If you where there to experience there behavior you know what I talking about. Ahhh Memories.
Too bad about SnS, you've had a great run. I remember when I saw the flyer for SnS and it mentioned the MC theme. I showed up with a biker jacket, it was in the winter but I got really hot by the first stop. Great times though. I haven't been in a few months but Ill make this one.
Yup... I remember that. That was awesome. Bring your music! We'll make it happen again. Hopefullly... Eddie's system will be up too!! It sure sucks to see the S&S ride end but I'm sure we'll see the jackets on plenty bike rides...
slow paced 20 miles shouldn't mess with your mojo for dark century 24 hours later. It'll make you sleep late, so you'll be well rested for the long ride ;-)
When I first started doing the SnS rides(bout a year and a half ago) I always looked forward to coming out and having a good time.. .I always used to look forward to doing the next ride, always!
Anyways, I remember the good times and will always enjoy the memories!
Buuuuut, I must say, the rides did get to a point where things got out of control. Riders started to lead when it wasn't even their ride, people we're littering, tagging, and also treating pedestrians and car's with no resprect. I think the rides just grew in popularity and at times out of control.
I guess what it comes down to is people we're just being people; SHITTY at times.. .its just a part of life.
So yea, with all that being said, I look forward to tonight!!
Sorry to see that the ride is ending. This is one ride I still make it out on and It might have been my first night time group ride when you guys started since it was close to home. It was neat to see it turn from a small ride though the hood then pub crawl to the massive thing it is now. You guys always put on a great ride and were nice dudes/girls. I'll be out tonight, It's been a while anyhow.

dont the wessiders have their own ride tonight?thought s'ns' was for eassiders only.just playing .kinda sucks that things have gotten so split up now.i guess its good cause it keeps the numbers down thus not creating so much havoc on the streets.but at the same time it seems like it makes it too easy for people to stay in their comfort zone and be kinda lazy.i remember having to go all over the place if i wanted to ride with my friends.and it was cool because EVERYBODY i knew was there.after a while i was just doing the local rides .now i dont even know who thehell is on the rides or posting on here.west siders,sf valley people.sg valley people,i wouldnt be able to put a face to your MR handle.for the most part. i hope to see some if my good friends tonight and shoot the crap.lets try ro bring the old style feel to this.lets sins and sprockets go out in style.no bull shit tonight.controlled chaos.and dont forget to thank the organizers for some of the best rides.somebody get charlie and me a beer.im jobless and broke again.i suck at the job thing

yeha but I'm tryin to make my girlfriend go and she's still not too strong a rider, too much uphill after that far. she might be able to do it, but will complain by then.
Anyone from the valley driving? I'm getting there via redline/goldline, but I don't really wanna hafta leave before 12, so's if I can find a ride back 2 the valley (I'm trying to plan ahead) that would be so cool.

Megaprops to DJ Chickenleather who chased after some thug kids that bushed a guy off his bike and took the bike. Chickenleather chased the punks into the projects and showed them his angry face and they quickly handed over the bike!

Also, It was great to see so many people that I have not seen and ridden with in such a long time. It was great to have a ALL CITY RIDE with no East/West drama. Props to all the homies for showing up and making the night crazy fun.
