I left Mexico an hour before it hit. We were in the air when it happened. When I got off the plane, we got in a shuttle from the plane to the customs area of the airport and somehow the people in the shuttle with me were all Canadians. They had their phones out and were like, "looks like we missed a 7.1 earthquake, aye".
