Hey guys I'll be tracking Through The Looking Glass tonight!
If you ever lose the group or arrive late.. or fall behind or get a flat or something, don't worry! It's not the end of the night! You can receive text messages to your phone on our whereabouts and catch up to us!
It's free if you got a text messaging plan on your phone.
Step by step directions any nerd follow here:
Track Midnight Ridazz
Tonight will be tight... gonna be all pretty and showery and stuff!

I remember the good old days when we used to call each other via cell phones. Man, those were good times!

This is via Twitter and its VERY helpful. I found the Nerds Ride very easily through antranik's Twitter. He gives the turns AND a link to a perfectly-scaled map of the location. Thanks again, antranik!

I'm with Marcus on this one! I turned Twitter on in preparation for SFVCM a couple months back, but fell asleep/wasn't motivated to leave to get to the start in time. A series of texts telling me the ride left 1/2 an hour late and was headed in my direction got me off my butt for the night.

Yes this system takes advantage of twitter to send free texts to your phone. And you can set it up so that only when *I* make updates, the texts go to your phone. (you won't be bombarded by updates from every single friend you have on twitter, lol)
Follow the step by step directions to ensure you set it up properly! I will send out an update tonight around 6pm saying i'm tracking tonights ride, if that arrives to your phone by text message, then you've set it up properly.
User1: If you really, really, really like trying to make phone calls while riding your bicycle, to other people, who have to answer their phones, while riding THEIR bicycles, then by all means, you have free will. =)
