April 3 & 4 (Friday & Saturday).
Looks like they are planning a bunch of events, all centered on numerious criiterium bike races.
Friday night should be fun.

I'm thinking about hosting a ride to this, if anyone is interested.
Possible start points would be:
Olvera Plaza (26 miles)
Norwalk Green line station (24 miles)
Blue line Del Amo station (10 miles)
Blue line LB station (.25 mile)
Any other ideas?

Do a bike ride down the coast.
Do a loop on the two river trails.
Do a ride to our neglected suburb, san pedro!

I'm coming from Cypress, so Rossmore is easy.
I get on Coyote Creek at Ball and go south to PCH to get to LB.
I'll post the ride once I figure it out.

This is the same weekend as the SD Cretins shindig. At least we'll be rolling from there and might get some billing?

i'm thinking an adventure riding to LB from DTLA. anyone know if you can walk around with your bike at the festival, or if you have to lock it up somewhere?
sciencefriction04.4.09 - 12:22 pm
reply
There is free valet bike parking.
The parking looks very secure.
Plenty of places to lock up as well, just don't use a cable lock.
