Hello everyone, this is your friendly neighborhood Roadblock speaking.
I'm sorry it took this long, but I am requesting that the few of you out there who find it funny to post codescending remarks against gays or remarks that inscinuate that someone is inferior because they are gay to please think about how your comments are perceived by the entire ridazz community, gay, straight new and old.
Midnight Ridazz was never hostile to gays and in fact gays have had, and continue to have a strong influence on what Midnight Ridazz is.... ALL INCLUSIVE. I hate that I have to say it but the gay bashing is LAME people. Go ride off a cliff with that shit. Much appreciated.

Maybe it was you eddie maybe not. if it was, you aren't alone. No one is perfect. No one is pointing fingers. It would just be great if we could get the hateful comments off the board.
Imagine that every comment we make is as ambassadors to the world of people out there just discovering us and to the people amongst us who we love and kick it with daily who are gay. Would you say it to their face? Really? Would it hurt them inside even if you didn't mean it as a bigotted comment? Just asking people to think about the weight of their words. Thanks.

...the loudest cheering section in LA is Santa Monica blvd. in WeHo on a hot Monday night... no kidding it is kind of awesome and a kick! Seriously bring a ride down there and see how hard some of those crowds cheer the bike horde!
it's hard enough being young and not fitting in. MR should not be an extension of High School.

I will be the first to admit that I sometimes make ignorant remarks. But there is no hate behind my stupidity. I'll occasionaly say...
"Aww. I'm so gay for you" Or "We're gay for each other" Or something along the lines of gay = mushy romantic stuffs. And I would like to apologize if I have offended anyone. Straight or gay. Or bi. I will try to hold my tounge.

I think "i'm so gay for you" is a lot different than
callin' somebody gay as an insult.
Its also a lot different to be talking about yourself than about somebody else.
As far as message-boards go we have a lot of freedom here to use salty language and express ourselves. But to protect that freedom it forces us to also take some responsibility for the way we express ourselves here.
I love the ridaa PC I hate the term PC.
This shouldn't be about us policing or judging each other. But really remembering that we are not sitting with our bike homies in a parking lot sharing a spliff at 3am with a 7 beers in our belly.
We are on a public forum. And we want this place to be safe and inviting to as many people as possible, so more ppl witll want to ride with us.

Some of the gay jokes on this board are obviously not backed by any real hatred but even though they aren't done with malice they encourage others who do harbor real prejudice.
