goto the doctor.
i just took an MRI today waiting for the results tomorrow.
last time i felt no pain and was diagnosed with a lvl 1 tear.
the knee is a very very complex joint.

yeah, dude. a checkup will cost you less than $100. if you don't you could end up unable to walk, let alone ride a bike.
and then you'd feel like a total jackass.

Ten bucks says you need a new, better bike that will fit you comfortably and is your size and your knee pain will improve. One-hundred bucks says you see the doctor.

start riding at a high cadence!!! I saw you ride today for the first time and you were riding on your highest gears. Listen to Junu because you may have hurt yourself or at the very least developed tendinitis.

ya I was riding in the highest gear I could go to. Which is the lowest cog on the read wheel and the mid chain ring.
thats middle-low gear
when I was riding like that I felt no pain and it was comfortable.
on my way from the red line I was in my lowest gear, and I felt the pain.
I think high cadence is what made it hurt.

See a Dr., but also check out your seat position. Try moving it up/down, forward/backward and see if you can find a more comfortable position. Your knee should be directly over the ball of your foot when that crank is forward and horizontal.
Good luck!
