Anybody wanna step up and do May's MR ride? If not I was thinking of doing the Quentin Tarantino Ride. What do you guys think? Dress up as characters from his movies. LIke the Wes Anderson Ride that Dan B did.

i was thinking of doing a Gonzo Ride, where we dress up like Hunter S Thompson and Richard Nixon, but i didnt want to commit if i couldnt get my shit together.

I had put a placeholder for May MR, but I had no ideas for a ride so I changed it. Quentin ride sounds amazing! MIH.

I LOVE the idea of a Gonzo ride.
I've also been thinking of doing a Culture/World ride.

my idea with the gonzo ride was to plan a route which would reflect the concept: being chased through private communities by underpaid private security guards... i dont know if that falls into the realm of unfriendly culture jamming, but there are some really beautiful, even historic streets and country clubs around town that you arent supposed to access. the whole rossmore and beverly area, for instance is just amazing.

the wally george ride: everyone dress up in tank tops, shorts and those rainbow sunglasses and follow the stroke victim with the american flag tie.

I still think it was wrong to get rid of his show and subject him to the bowels of entertainment just because of something most men normally do.
It's not like he was Father Mulcahy telling little, Jimmy O'Mara to visit him the confessional.

OK, in short: proximity to liquor stores and a large parking lot. Spot has been pretty well burned as far as I'm concerned.
Sentimental old-timer argument: The Pioneer Chicken parking lot was the (near) original home starting point of MR, but the last time a ride was scheduled to start there I rolled into the parking lot, looked around and saw no one - because they was in the Wallgreen's parking lot. Sorry, it ain't the same.
