Smokazz

As I was rummaging through my storage this last weekend I found a pack of 3 year old cigarettes that I had unknowingly packed inside a backpack. I opened up the pack (camel lights, the old school white box with the tan/gold print), smelled it and figured it'd be alright to smoke. That must have been the best cigarette that I've smoked in a long ass time! Is it just me, or did cigarettes start tasting shittier than usual after the companies decided to change their packaging? Not only that, but it seems that these new breed of cigs don't even burn as well as they did back in the old days...
What the fuck? Maybe it's a boost to kick the habbit?

The list of 599 additives approved by the US Government for use in the manufacture of cigarettes is something every smoker should see.
What's in a cigarette?

I'm done with cigarettes.
Flirted with them last summer, it really shows how 'mature' of an individual I was. Now I am down to one or two a month. Only happens when i'm with a buddy of mine and in the right mood. I stopped counting the time inbetween smoking, that's how I now I am done with it.
Good day mr. cigarette.

hahaha he's talking about the taste of cigarettes, you're talking about how you've quit, or you're quitting, or i don;t know what.. but your post will lead this thread into everyone's good and bad habits with smoking in no time.
i forgot who started this thread, but in response to your realization, you might have enjoyed the taste because it's been preserving itself somehow... marinating... like fine marijuana and wine? it happens..

I'm a she.. And really? Tabaco "marinates"? I was not aware of that! And I really didn't think about people revealing their habbits... I just wanted to know if it was just me.. At first I thought maybe it was the cigs effects on my taste buds but now I'm pretty much convinced that it's the new ingredients.

about 4 or 5 years ago when i was still smoking and living in NY, they added a chemical (another!) to the cigarette paper that would cause the cigarette to go out if you didn't puff it frequently enough. this was to prevent people from falling asleep with a lit cigarette.
this caused the cigarettes to taste funny and burn out often. if i'm not mistaken, they use that same chemical on the paper here now as well, because my gf's cigarettes go out all the time. you may have found a pre-chemical pack. my solution to this was rolling tobacco.
