Where can I find the most economical pair of gatorskin tires around Los Angeles? Or which do you recommend for longer lasting, barely any skidding, all terrain needs?
reply
your question doesnt make any sense.
practically every single bike shop in la county carries continental gatorskins.

Continental states that you can get "up to 6000km" (that's 3728 miles) on a Gatorskin. I've gotten that and a little more on my last two rear tires, way more on the front. Only two flats in all that time and one was from running over a huge staple that would have flatted a car tire.

I bought mine at O20 and they were $40 a piece but that was awhile back. Had my first flat the other day going through road construction on Roscoe in Panorama City. Had a heavy duty staple embedded. First flat ever with them... but it's been a whole year riding on them and its my first flat. Love the tire!!
Bontrager Hardcase Lite are cool too. Had them on for awhile and never had a flat. Well I did when they started having these little fine splits all over the place.. LIke it just started falling apart.

These tires have the best review rating I've seen compared to any of the tires mentioned above.
Vredestein Fortezza SE Plus they're onsale at Performance for $30 and if you buy two, it's an extra 10% off.
