My mom freaked out and threw a blanket over me in '94. But yeah, this last one was nothing. The previous one (a couple months/weeks ??) was actually scary, I thought my whole book shelf was going to come crashing down.

What earthquake?
Seriously.
I mean maybe I was in the car.
I just don't know.
When I was at the Oven I don't think i heard a single person mention it.
I only knew because i got a text message.
Back in 88 i saw the plate window of the donut shop i just left shatter before my eyes. Parked cars were jumping like they had some hydraulics in the back.
In 94 my grandmas house got torn to crap. The entire valley looked like a war zone.

Gav, you're 18 now right.
How old were you in 1994? When your mom threw that blanket over you during the earthquake.
You too Sarah, you slept through it....but you were like 3 right?

Actually, Gav's 19, he's a few months older than me. We were three during the earthquake.
I was actually in Big Bear at the time, so my entire family slept through the quake, but my house got pretty messed up- luckily it was all interior stuff rather than structural. All I remember was that I got to spend a week living with my grandma and grandpa while my parents cleaned up all the broken glass.

Yeah, it's tough to gauge an earthquake when you're three years old. You remember bits and pieces, but the full extent of it cannot be realized until you are the age you are now.
Point is--to symoa-- you can't fully appreciate a big earthquake when you are three.
