More on LACM police brutality

After I spoke to Sgt. Johnson last week to complain about the police assaults on cyclists at the last LACM, Ryan spoke to him tonight. He wanted Ryan to ID the officers involved (wtf? He never asked me to do that,) and then said that they have no record of a patrol car in the vicinity at that time. What gives? Has anybody that actually received a citation come forward? Has anyone else called in to complain or appeared in person to complain? Does anyone else want Sgt. Johnson's number? Bueller?

 No record of a patrol car in the vicinity... Um, yeah. I assume that this is just incompetence and not a cover-up. Surely they realize how stupid a cover-up would be, right? Somebody with a citation get the name(s) of the officer(s) out there!

 Eddie, a couple of officers tackled a number of cyclists (wthout warning or instruction to stop) at about 8:50 on LACM. You can read more about it on a number of threads on this website, and it was also posted on LAist and LA Streetsblog.

Everyone who witnessed this, or at least can vouch for the police being stopped in the road at the location where they tackled the cyclists, or can ID the officers, please call Sgt Johnson at 213-485-3294.
