i think i can safely speak for all of midnight ridazz, and say, we'll be there.
i remember the best part of the entire week was getting back to LA and having all of our friends roll up on freak bikes to ride us that last miles home. all the other participants stood with their mouths gaping, wondering what the fuck was going on. it was awesome.

I was there last year and remember talking to some of the returning riders. Everyone was tired and just waiting for the ending ceremony to end when all of a sudden two groups of riders showed up, one group came from the Bike District and the other group were Angelopes.
Then you could hear these ALC riders ask -- are those people ours?
Right at that point I heard some Team Midnight Ridazz scream out -- "No, they're ours1"
It made me realize what a community MR is.

TMR just shoved off to SF. I'll make a ride posting on the calendar for those of us departing from the Eastside.

Uh oh. Sounds like some of these bike people may want to stop by the all day all night BikeRoParty that same day. To, you know, tune up their bikes, eat, drink, be merry, dance, bike joust, jump rope, karaoke, win prizes, etc.

Maybe we should do a ride to Bikerwave and then ridazz who want to take a break from the madness can all get together and ride to the VA Center which is close by anyway.

Hrm... yeah, we need to figure out this ride.
I was thinking of having a meet-up at Orange 20 / Scoops... and then riding out from there to meet them at he VA Center? I guess... that would be for people on the east side who aren't at the Bikerowave.

Just so you guys know:
- we have a bike from LA Brakeless to give away
- we will have Tamale Truck catering 6-10pm
- we will have music, dancing, and lots of stupid races that involve bikes
Bring your own beverages!!

BUMP
To Everyone:
We ride to Bikerowave and will leave momentarily from BRW to VA Center to greet TMR. Now lets figure out a time to ride from O20, say 11:am?
Any objections?

oy. Personally, I was gonna pass on the Bikerowave detour... just because I have an optometrist appointment at 10... so maybe I'll just meet with you guys at the VA center.

yeah, i vote for going from the bike district straight to the va.
if half the people want to go to the bikerowave party thing and half the people dont, we can leave in two groups, like, an hour after one another. didnt we end up taking santa monica the entire way last year? splitting lanes in weho is so much fun.

Yeah, maybe you and I can lead the second group ride from Orange 20 that meets at 2:30 or something... and if nobody shows up... well... we ride from there.

since TMR will more than likely paceline it in, we should find out when they plan to do it so we aren't waiting at the VA for hours before they arrive. My thinking was to party at BRW a bit while we wait for them and meet at the VA around 15 mins before they paceline in.
Best of both worlds imo.

Last year didn't work out to bad. It wasn't that painful hanging around the VA. In fact it was a blast watching this security guard smack a can of beer outa PC's hand! I'd stay there all day if I could see that again!
Go to the BRW after the team rolls in. That's my vote.

ah well i suppose it makes more sense to just go straight to the VA from O20. Just throwing some thoughts out there to try to accomodate everyone else.
If people want to come and support TMR when they arrive they will.

Someone add a ride to VA from Orange20 so were all on the same page.

i have your digits too.
and im with user1 up there. hanging out for an hour or so before the team rolled in was great. we sat in the grass, propped the bikes up against a tree and did the jumprope thing. beers were drank (and slapped out of pcs hand), weed was smoked, freakbikes were ridden, we were gawked at by real roadies and adored by their children.

Hmmm... so do you think we should try to meet a little earlier and get there for 2:30 instead of 3:00? It says that riders will be arriving between 1 and 3, and the closing ceremonies are at 4:00.

I think you should get there as early as possible...i'm gonna try to steer the ANGELOPES ride to arrive at 3pm and keep it east of westwood so we can hook up with you east side folks.
