Missing Ghost Bike?

I was headed home this morning around 7:30am and I passed by where Jesus Castillo's ghost bike used to be. I wasn't really looking for it and some traffic was blocking my view but I didn’t see it. I hope I somehow missed it and that it's not really gone... anyone know for sure?

Went by this morning, bike is gone. A few candles still there.

it could be the city that removed the bike.. but maybe i am giving too much credit to the bike thieves?

This bike is on it's way south of the border.
You gota really used a fucked up bike. The bike you used looks like it's a lugged frame. The forks don't look too bad either.
The last bike I put up I even drilled through the frame of it. What makes it most valuable is that the frame is aluminum. Other than that, I can't see why anyone would take it.

I rode past the one at LaBrea and Fountain on Thursday and it was still up. That leaves me to believe that it wasn't the city, but a bike thief.

Bike thief's eat their own farts.
Perhaps ghost bikes should be taken a step further and have all components permanently welded to each other.
And as an added measure, have some volcanic ash from Hawaii placed in the seat-tube.
Pel'e will sort the rest out.

hopefully the thief will use the ghost bike for himself as it was originally intended.

Yeah, I don't think that's it - frame is a different size, for sure.
Thanks for looking out though.
