I was at the FMLY concert at Out of Asia on Sat. 2/21/09. The music was good and everything was going smoothly until the idiot CRANK Mob arrived. I won't speak for all those that were a part of the CRANK Mob because some of them were cool and they can blame the rest of the Mob who represent you guys in the WORST way possible. I could tell they were really young, extremely drunk, and acting like PUNKS who can't hold their alcohol! They were making graffiti marks, trying to climb onto the roof, throwing shit, pissing everywhere, and basically acting like a bunch of jerks. The promoters were nice enough to invite you guys and placed speakers outside for you to enjoy the music, and this is how you show your appreciation!? You give a bad name to the Midnight Ridazz. You guys should NEVER be invited anywhere!!!

1st of all, posting this on a forum doesn't do shit. contact the ride leader(s) if you have a problem.
2nd of all, this is a message to us from FMLY on the 24th (3 days after the ride):
"
Hey Crank Mob,
I think everything went really well. No one got killed and everyone seems to agree that it was the best FMLY show and Crank Mob. We did well. If you have any pictures of people dancing out back, please send them my way. Let us know about bike rides that are open and well post them up on FMLY. I hope the rest of the ride went well. WE LOVE CRANK MOBBBBB!!!!
I wish i would have known about the graffiti earlier so i could have apologize and offered help cleaning/removing the paint right away, but now that i know i will write tonight.
3rd - Everyone knows what happens at C.R.A.N.K MOB and if you try and assume for one second that this ride isn't and won't be rowdy and wild, then you're kidding yourself. Expect it.
Next time you feel like trashing a ride, understand that there are people like me who put a lot of time and energy into this ride. You should target the 'assholes' on the ride and not the ride itself.

When I was in college, someone broke in every night (or every couple nights) for months, pooping & then smearing said poop all over the walls of classrooms all over campus. The perpetrator was dubbed the Great Defecator.

No Tagging would fit under the 7th Crankmobment - LEAVE NO TRACE.
We have a lot of young kids showing up nowadays, it's our job as a community to educate them. Just like the stealing issue, it makes us all look bad. To be specific, young kids with markers and no drawing skills make me look bad. So Ghostwriter does have a point.
Tagging is stupid. You should never use permanent paints or markers unless you have artistical talent and your drawings don't suck. Chalk and Spray chalk are Crank Mob-approved, but no markers - this has to be made clear next ride.

stick it to them oldschool, when a cop would catch you he would empty out every single can you had by spraying it on you, or he would mess you up, or if you got lucky he would let you go but he next encouner wouldnt be as nice

I cringe when I hear it made out to be an issue of age. It may be an issue connected with life experience, which is highly correlated with age, but it's not about either.
When I was 18 and someone said "these young kids", they immediately lost all credibility with me. Now, at nearly 29, when someone says "these young kids", they STILL immediately lose credibility with me.
It's about the difference between a groups interest and the individual. The individual can safely tag, artistically or non artistically, and know that they are only jeopardizing themselves. When in the group though, they jeopardize opportunities for the whole ride. Make that point well, make it empathetically, and you will persuade just about anyone, regardless of age.
