South Los Angeles

Is there anyone in Southern Los Angeles or perhaps Torrance who wants to start riding? Every time I want to ride, I always have to get all the way up to Santa Monica or East LA. Most of the rides are up North. I was wondering if there were any people on the Southside or close to the Southside who would like to start some rides. I want to get more bikes on the road out here.

I work in El Segundo. I would catch a South Los Angeles ride after work. I never ride around there -- I hardly know a thing about the area.

There are a handful of Ridazz from El Segundo and a few from Manhattan and Torrance. Start a ride and/or come to south bay critical mass or south bay cruisers.

See, I knew I would find some people out here. I'm sure we can get more rides in South L.A. going like there are in West and East L.A. What are some good spots to ride down here? Are there any rides that people know about already besides the South Bay Cruisers?

South Los Angeles = SLA = Symbionese Liberation Army. These were the people that kidnapped Patty Hearst back in the 70s. Maybe we can work that into the title/theme of the ride. What do you say?

Great catch. Did you just finish watching the documentary? We can hijack people and make them one of us. Lets just go random. It can be a ride to raise awareness of the SLA coming together to ride.

I didn't, but I was Patty Hearst for Halloween the year after the documentary came out. I still have the pin I made with the seven-headed snake logo. Fascinating story!
Can we give people hallucinogens and then lock them in dark closets for days on end? ... No?

I would love to see a fast ride started in the south bay ... we already have the South Bay Cruisers... they will grow and grow and grow...
Anyone want to start a fast ride on a week night ?

Alright, lets do it. Lets get atleast 7 to 10 people together. Who wants to ride next Saturday at 7 p.m.? We can meet up at the Green Line Station on Imperial.
Jaz, where in Inglewood do you live? I live by Imperial and Crenshaw.
Katie please come and bring your costume.

i'm always busy during the weekends and usually heading out to rides or other things outside of the southbay.
..BUT..
If anyone wants to start a South Bay Ridazz Car Pool list I'm down to be a part of it!!!

Arr, I'm filming next weekend, but I might be done by then. I'll race to catch up with you, and if I can't, then maybe you can kidnap me, drug me, and put me in isolation, after which point I'll be sympathetic to your cause.
This is the photo on which my costume was based. Anyone else wants to dress up, go for it. SLA logo behind her. I recommend skipping the gun.

The house caught fire during the shootout (my dad told me that he could see the smoke from the Harbor Freeway), which may explain the stucco job.
54th Street is well north of Watts, by the way.

I'm right at the race track. AS for riding Saturday, is the plan to ride to the MR ride this weekend?
'cause if not....then....I might have to skip out. I also normally work weekends, or at least should be working up in Stockton, but some freak circumstances have me working in the OC for a couple weeks. So I can do saturdays this week and maybe next, but after that I'm out.
I'm much more down for a weekday ride.....but....not for a couple more weeks. ...Finals....bah.
