The best (funniest) stop to start at is Vermont and Sunset. Go down Sunset with like minded folks. The other possiblities are Vermont and Beverly stop or 7th and flower. These are all red line stops.
Does anyone know if we're going up to Elysian Park?

Agreed. Vermont/Sunset is a peach. Better roads and less hilly then coming from Union Station.

Remember kids, BEISBOL starts at 7:40pm and can end anytime between 9:40pm and 10:40pm... on average...

From 7th/Flower (or, as Metro calls it, "7th/Metro"), you can ride a couple of blocks up Figueroa and then take the Official Bikey Downtown to Echo Park Shortcut (OBDEPS) which is as follows:

Second Street west out of downtown; veer right onto Glendale; veer left at Park toward Sunset.
Two miles, very mild uphill grade. Much less hilly than taking Cesar Chavez/Sunset from Union Station.

Does anyone know what happened to that guy that had this awesome led light system on his back wheel? You know the kind of Spoke Lights that shows you text and graphics while it spins? This one guy had an amazing setup, it said midnight Ridazz in scrolling text and showed the Skull. Last time I saw this was at the Pirate Ride almost two years ago. I figured it was to expensive and delicate of a bling system to be taking out to rides like this... too bad.

Alan, We ARE Going to Elysian Park AFTER the ride is over. The Dodgers are Playing that night, it wouldn't be good until we went up after anyway. I did plan for it, because you suggested it.. Also, I won't give you any more off my sweet ass if you Hijack it early. You can mess with Fluffer from now on if you're gonna play games like that.

I just got 50 blue 20 inch glow stick necklaces for 20 bucks at this place online. You might have to call though to make sure they can get it to you in time. Not sure.. I got mine next day for regular shipping price. http://www.glowrus.com/
Otherwise 99 cent stores do sell them if you look for them.
Just enough to make a slight glow should be good enough!
