That's actually one of the best ideas for a Bad Idea Ride ever.

You would spend a month riding across the country at night. You get home not having seen a thing outside a couple of cities, 'cuz they forgot to turn the lights on the Grand Canyon, the Rockies, the plains, etc.

Well we'll see more than a couple of cities, 19 to be precise.

Although road trips are good too.

One thing is for sure, they will leave all the lights on in the harbor area.

Make it to the gold line at union station at 1150 and you can make the ride sonny. I'll be taking the last train which is at 1152. The one before it is at 1120.

That really was a bad Idea but I loved it. Watching the Malibu hills burning from the start was ridiculous.

Lesson learned Can't forget my chapstick...
